This year marks the first-ever collaboration between Kristine’s, The JM Group, and The Blue Bears Special Meals—a distinctive nonprofit café in Princeton that champions both culinary excellence and social inclusion.
The Blue Bears Special Meals is a nonprofit French-style café dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) by providing paid, skill-building employment and fostering confidence in a professional, inclusive atmosphere. The café not only offers high-quality, globally inspired breakfast and lunch fare, but also ensures every staff member earns at least the New Jersey minimum wage of $15.13 per hour, challenging the staggering reality that 80% of people with IDD are unemployed. Kristine’s and The JM Group are honored to support Blue Bears this year—partnering to help bring good food, meaningful opportunities, and heartfelt community impact together in one place.
